Orange County Division of Building Safety now offers remote inspections for select inspection types to homeowners and businesses. Upon arrival, please follow any posted policies regarding safety measures related to COVID-19. Please note that no new permit applications or plans will be accepted in person. For instructions to schedule an appointment, please visit Fast Track and click on the “Schedule Appointment” icon. Homeowners wishing to apply for Owner-Builder permits should view the Owner-Builder instructions on the Fast Track registration instructions page. If you need to submit corrections or revisions to pre-existing paper-based plans, they may be dropped off for processing at a drop-off box located at the entrance to the Orange County Administration Building. Obtaining Permits and Managing InspectionsĪll new permit applications and inspection requests must be submitted online through the Fast Track Online Services portal.
